Scarabaeus, known in America as Invaders of the Lost Tomb, is a computer game released for the Commodore 64 in 1985, written by Andromeda Software and distributed in the UK by Ariolasoft.
An astronaut and his dog go explore an Egyptian tomb (as revealed in the opening sequence) to find the Pharoh’s Jewel, solving puzzles spread over three levels. The game is played 1st person view.
This game was made by 5 hungarian guys: Peter Barna, Istvan Cseri, Laszlo Mocsary, Csaba Nagy, András Pohl.
Recently Gamesthatwerent portal reported that a sequel was in development but it never reached a final stage.
