Cybernoid: The Fighting Machine is a shoot ’em up developed and published in 1987 by Hewson Consultants for the ZX Spectrum, and was then ported to the Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, NES, and Amiga.
Shooting pirate ships often leaves power-ups or jewels which Cybernoid can then collect.

Cybernoid is an excellent PC remake of a classic Spectrum/Commodore shooter. It offers a well-designed balance between strategy, action and even puzzle elements.

Once Again the Pirates have returned, however this time the Cybernoid Pilot has Infiltrated their main planetary base complex.
Deep within this base, the pilot discovers the very heart of the pirates stash of valuable that have been plundered from the Federation Storage Depots around the galaxy.
You’ve been commissioned once again to retrieve the stolen cargo. You’ve been given a ship and an additional arsenal of special weaponry to aid you in your quest. However, the risks themselves are just as perilous.
