Dracula’s Castle is a new game for Commodore 64 by MP Software but as ported from old BASIC game, released in 1985. MP Software’s version is coded in assembler.
Hero has to collect crucifixes and keys in order to open the door at the end of the level, killing bats and Count Dracula himself.
Animation is sharp and smooth with addictive background music.
MP Software comments it: “the basic code has been rewritten in assembly, the bonus-time has been introduced, the hi-score with relative saving, a different musical base has been inserted, a mechanism has been implemented to help you understand when you can get on, get off the stairs and take the objects. The original credits are been inserted.”
