B.C.’s Quest for Tires is a 1983 video game developed by Sydney Development and published by Sierra On-Line. It was released for the Commodore 64, Atari 8-bit, ColecoVision, ZX Spectrum, MSX, and Apple II, based on the comic strip B.C. by Johnny Hart. The name of the game is a play on the title of the contemporaneous film, Quest for Fire.
The player takes the role of the caveman Thor, who has to rescue his girlfriend, the Cute Chick, who has been kidnapped by a dinosaur. To do this, he must travel on his stone unicycle through several levels. Each level involves Thor moving from the left to the right, avoiding various dangers.
A sequel, Grog’s Revenge, was released in 1984.

A Remake of the old classic ‘BC’s Quest for tires’. The original game was published by Sierra On-Line in 1983 on the following platforms: Commodore 64, Atari 8-bit, ColecoVision, ZX Spectrum, MSX, Apple II and MS-DOS. The remake is based on the C64 version.
You control Thor the caveman who is traveling through the lands on a stone unicycle, trying to rescue a helpless lady, Cute Chick, from an evil dinosaur. On the journey you will encounter many kinds of dangers, such as logs, lakes, rolling stones, and of course Thor’s arch-enemy, Fat Broad.
Two players can play simultaneously using a split screen mode, racing to rescue Cute Chick before the other player does.
The game is freeware and only 5 megabytes in size, so why not go ahead and give it a try!
