Syndicate…set in a dystopian future where corporations rule the world and players take on the role of a cyborg enforcer working for one of these corporations…
##Original Syndicate by Bullfrog
Syndicate is an isometric real-time tactical and strategic game from Bullfrog Productions created in 1993, and released for a variety of platforms beginning with the PC and Commodore Amiga.
It is the first title in the Syndicate series. The game is set in a dystopian future in which corporations have replaced governments, and the player is in control of a corporation vying for global dominance.
The game was later re-released in 2015 for free on Electronic Arts’ Origin platform. An expansion pack named Syndicate: American Revolt was subsequently released in 1993.
#########Graphics and Design
The game’s graphics are dated by today’s standards, but the game’s world is well-designed and the use of different level tunes adds to the atmosphere.
#####Gameplay
The game’s gameplay is unique for its time, with players taking on the role of a cyborg enforcer working for a corporation in a dystopian future. The game features a top-down perspective and players must complete missions by controlling a team of agents with different abilities. The game’s difficulty is high, but the game is rewarding for those who stick with it.
#####Story
The game’s story is set in a future where corporations rule the world and players take on the role of a cyborg enforcer working for one of these corporations. The game’s story is competent enough, but the game’s focus is on the gameplay. Warring corporations run the world and are cruel, oppressive bastards with loads of money, you , enhanced bio-machine, are their eyes and hands, their will and command.
###Remake of Syndicate by Starbreeze Studios
###Graphics and Design
The game’s graphics are polished and the futuristic settings, characters, and tech elements are well-designed. The game’s world maintains a clean and simple design, while also mixing styles with New York slums, Atlantic sea bases, and the alleyways of China. The game’s use of bluish hues creates a unique atmosphere.
####Gameplay
The game’s use of the DART chip is what sets it apart from other shooters. Players can manipulate the world using the chip and enact horrors upon enemies’ chips, making them kill themselves, shoot their comrades, or drop to the ground, stunned. The gunplay is fun and the weapons diverse enough to keep fights interesting. The game’s co-op mode is where it shines, with a scoring system, unlock tree with more options than the single-player campaign, and replayability.
##########Story
In the not-too-distant future, the world is divided into regions controlled by mega-corporations known as Syndicates. Business is war, and the player is the weapon, the latest prototype agent for Eurocorp, one of the most ruthless Syndicates in a world dominated by greed. The game offers two modes of play: single-player and four-player co-op. In single-player mode, the player embarks on a unique sci-fi shooter adventure of corruption and revenge, utilizing DART 6 chip-enhanced technology to breach, manipulate, and control the wired world. In four-player co-op mode, the player can form their own Syndicate and dominate nine action-packed missions inspired by the original Syndicate game.

#####Syndicate American Revolt
The bonus disk for Syndicate was called American Revolt. It was released in 1993 for Amiga and DOS and featured new missions, weapons, and even introduced multiplayer gameplay.
Syndicate Code Mack has been another name for American Revolt, and it was essentially the same as American Revolt minus the airstrike.
In Syndicate Revolt, you have to submit North, Central, and South America back to the Syndicate government.
We still play it, and there are some extremely hardcore cyberpunk levels that are difficult to explain to those who haven’t played it.
If you are a fan of the first Syndicate, then American Revolt is a must, especially the last mission where you will have to use all the techniques acquired to “persuade” the last piece of the puzzle to give up to the Corporation.
#####Syndicate Wars
Syndicate Wars is an isometric real-time tactical and strategic game developed by Bullfrog Productions and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for DOS in 1996 and for the PlayStation in 1997. Syndicate Wars follows on from the events in Syndicate, taking place 95 years later (in the year 2191). At the game’s opening, the player-controlled syndicate (called EuroCorp) is at the peak of its power, a megacorporation controlling the world through a combination of military and economic power, and technological mind control, using the CHIP implant technology they developed. Viral damage to the global network causes disruption to Syndicate coordinations, with individual stations isolating themselves to avoid receiving rogue communication. The London station, as the headquarters of the EuroCorp syndicate, attempts to regain authority via direct intervention by the game’s signature quartets of heavily armed agents.
The game’s instruction manual specifically addresses the player as a newly hired EuroCorp executive; however, they can choose to control agents from either EuroCorp or the Church of the New Epoch. The game is set in a dystopian future where corporate warfare is the norm, and the player must navigate a world dominated by greed and corruption. The game’s unique sci-fi shooter adventure allows players to utilize DART 6 chip-enhanced technology to breach, manipulate, and control the wired world.
In conclusion, Syndicate Wars is a game that takes place in a dystopian future where the world is divided into regions controlled by mega-corporations known as Syndicates. In single-player mode, the player embarks on a unique sci-fi shooter adventure of corruption and revenge, utilizing DART 6 chip-enhanced technology to breach, manipulate, and control the wired world.
