Manic Miner is a platform game originally written for the ZX Spectrum by Matthew Smith and released by Bug-Byte in 1983 (later re-released by Software Projects). It is the first game in the Miner Willy series and among the early titles in the platform game genre. The game itself was inspired by the Atari 800 game Miner 2049er.It has since been ported to numerous home computers and video game consoles.
Atlantis is a fixed shooter video game produced by Imagic in July 1982, for the Atari 2600 video game console. The game was subsequently ported to the Atari 8-bit family of home computers, the Commodore VIC-20 home computer, the Intellivision, and the Magnavox Odyssey².

Marble Madness (マーブルマッドネス Māburu Maddonesu ) is an arcade video game designed by Mark Cerny, and published by Atari Games in 1984. It is a platform game in which the player must guide an onscreen marble through six courses, populated with obstacles and enemies, within a time limit. The player controls the marble by using a trackball. Marble Madness is known for using innovative game technologies. It was Atari’s first to use the Atari System 1 hardware and to be programmed in the C programming language. The game was also one of the first to use true stereo sound; previous games used either monaural sound or simulated stereo.
