Little Monkey Lost – 2005-09-25
This game sure looked great in 1988 (only the Amiga version), but it still looks cool. I recommend this game for anybody who likes “techno-sci-fi-romantics”. The corridors of the spaceship and enemies are very nice looking and fascinating. You will find many different looking areas and heaps of new enemies if you explore the whole ship. Controls are not so horrible. You get used to them in a couple of minutes. There are no any terrible bugs that kill your hero like in the predecessor game, Barbarian. The remaining problem is a terrible animation but it does not ruin the game altogether. The soundtrack by David Whittaker is one of the greatest Amiga anthems ever!! Recommended for anybody who likes arcade adventures or cool sci-fi graphics. I played this when I was seven years old and the game was challenging to finish then, but I guess that for better player it would take just a couple of hours to complete.
