The Plus/4 demo Raytracer (released 2024-12-07) is a ray tracing program rather than a conventional game.
It is a 32K freeware demo coded by sabe in machine code and compiled with XC-Basic, featuring a ray tracing algorithm originally by Daniel A. Nagy for the Primo computer, adapted here with Attila Szőke’s Shadertoy implementation. The demo showcases advanced rendering capability on the Plus/4 platform rather than gameplay elements.
As a demo, Raytracer is primarily a technical demonstration highlighting graphics programming prowess on the Commodore Plus/4 rather than a game for entertainment. It runs on both PAL and NTSC machines and is notable for how it pushes the machine code and algorithmic raytracing technique in this retro environment.

The Plus/4 demo “Microsonix 001” (released 2025-01-03) is a music/demo program rather than a traditional game. It is a 16K freeware release by Genesis Project coded in machine code. The demo includes eight very small yet richly atmospheric SID tunes, which users can play individually using keys 1 to 8. It focuses on providing evocative soundscapes through its tiny music collection, emphasizing audio artistry over gameplay or interactive elements.

Docster’s Digger is a freeware action game developed and coded by TRP as part of the 220 Volt Team. The core gameplay involves preventing the evil genie Khezam from raising an army of the dead. The player character, Docster, is the grave keeper armed with a shovel, tasked to stop this invasion by patching the holes.

Matrix by Entary Games is a board/strategy game for the Commodore Plus/4 platform. It features classic territory capturing gameplay against a computer opponent where the objective is not to capture the largest area but to be the player who makes the last valid move. The game adopts a “corner pushing” style where two players (the user and the CPU) take turns moving one step further from the opponent’s position. The match progresses through 9 increasingly challenging levels until final victory is achieved.
