Blade Runner is a 1985 video game loosely inspired by the 1982 film Blade Runner for 8Bit Machines like C64, but
actually based on the movie soundtrack by Vangelis as the publishers were unable to obtain a licence for a film tie-in. The game was published in 1985 by CRL Group PLC for Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC. Reviews of the game were average at best.
This game got no much success having a repetitive gameplay, but its music by Vangelis rendition gives back all the atmosphere that fans used to breathe in the classic movie. After all CRL Group was famous enough by releasing video games with minimal gameplay and maximum entertainment memory.
