>Arkanoid (アルカノイド Arukanoido?) is an arcade game developed by Taito in 1986.It expanded upon Atari‘s Breakout games of the 1970s by adding power-ups, different types of bricks, and a variety of level layouts. The title refers to a doomed “mothership” from which the player’s ship, the Vaus, escapes.

Game Info : The Amiga may be a classic system but that doesn’t mean that games are no longer produced for it and sure enough here comes Solid Gold. This is a neat Jump n Run 8-way scrolling game written just for the Amiga, which features ten levels spanning four worlds. What’s more with different graphics and enemies, you’d think this was a retail release.

>Back in 1993 a friend and I decided to try to make a game based on Alien Breed but with split screen scrolling. We had all sorts of problems and in the end we had to cut away the 1-player and 2-player missions and save what we could. We were left with our Death match game, which we enjoyed way too much.

>The very low cost USB floppy emulator from ebay should be able to play some ADF files on my Amiga. Unfortunately these drives was unable to support/emulate the Amiga sectors encoding scheme and couldn’t work on Amiga computers… But now all of this is past…
Coding the the Gotek firmware can now be replaced by an Amiga compatible firmware. This firmware allows to load any ADF file present on the USB key and play it on the Amiga!
