Yace64 is a new emulator for c64 with special features. Indeed it tries to transform its video game or however graphic in 3D to be compatible with virtual reality. Sort of software from Tron :-).
….including experimental VR supporting HTC vive and other openVR compatible virtual reality devices. See the feature introduction.
YACE64 is a Commodore 64 emulator that supports 3D and virtual reality. It allows users to play Commodore 64 games in a 3D virtual environment, giving them a more immersive experience. The emulator has been used to transform classic games like “Frogs” and “Pool” into 3D versions that can be played in VR. The emulator is still in development, and improvements and optimizations are being made. The emulator has been paired with a virtual 5.25″ floppy drive that makes authentic sounds, and a simulated color CRT monitor that looks surprisingly convincing in VR. YACE64 is available for download on the official website.
